What you actually pay per email
At the entry pay-as-you-go rate, every email costs $0.008, so 1,000 checks cost $8. NeverBounce lowers the per-credit price as you buy more, down to $0.002 per credit at up to 2 million credits, so very large one-off purchases can cost much less per email. Its pricing page shows the exact rate for your volume in a calculator.
The monthly plan is a different deal: $49 a month covers up to 10,000 emails. If you verify close to 10,000 addresses every month, that's under $0.005 per email. If you verify 2,000 in a quiet month, you still pay $49, so the real cost per email depends on how evenly you use it.
For comparison, EasyMailVerify's one-time packages cost $4.99 for 1,000 emails ($0.005 each), $24.99 for 10,000 ($0.0025 each) and $129.99 for 100,000 ($0.0013 each), with no monthly fee.
Do NeverBounce credits expire?
Yes. NeverBounce's pricing page states that pay-as-you-go credits expire 12 months after purchase. If you buy a large pack to get a lower per-email price but only verify part of it within a year, the rest is lost, which raises your real cost per email.
EasyMailVerify credits never expire, so buying a larger package for a better rate carries no deadline.
Are unknown or catch-all results charged?
NeverBounce's pricing page doesn't say whether inconclusive results use credits, so check its help center or ask its sales team before you buy. This matters most for B2B lists, where catch-all company domains can be a large share of the addresses.
At EasyMailVerify, Unknown results, including catch-all addresses that can't be confirmed, use no credits. Only Passed and Failed results do, and duplicates are removed before checking.
NeverBounce vs EasyMailVerify for the same list: 10,000 emails
Say you clean a 10,000-address list before a quarterly campaign, four times a year.
With NeverBounce's monthly plan, each quarter's list fits in one $49 month; keeping the plan all year to have it ready costs $588. Using pay as you go instead, 10,000 credits at the entry rate would be $80 per list, and volume discounts bring that down; check their calculator for the exact figure, and remember those credits expire after 12 months.
With EasyMailVerify, four lists of 10,000 cost $24.99 each, about $100 for the year, and only Passed and Failed results draw from your balance. If 1,500 of an order's addresses come back Unknown, those 1,500 credits stay in your account for next time.
What else to compare besides price
- Result clarity: do you get a plain-language reason with every result?
- Exports: can you download only the rows you want, such as Passed addresses?
- Data handling: how long are your checked addresses kept? EasyMailVerify deletes them 7 days after verification
- API: are real-time and bulk checks on the same credits?
- Accuracy: test both tools on a list where you already know the outcomes
