What does an email verification result tell me?+
MailGuard reports passed, failed, or unknown results from its verification provider, alongside checks and flags. A passed result is not a guarantee of inbox delivery, consent, or future mailbox availability.
Which results use credits?+
Passed and failed results use one credit per address. Unknown results use no credits. Duplicate addresses are removed from a bulk list before verification. Credits do not expire.
What can I upload?+
Bulk verification accepts CSV and TXT files up to 10 MB. You can preview the list and select the email column before starting. Results can be exported by status.
How are uncertain addresses handled?+
Catch-all domains and temporary server restrictions can prevent a conclusive answer. Review unknown results and their reasons separately rather than treating them as confirmed valid addresses.
Does verification send a campaign to my list?+
Verification checks addresses through BulkEmailChecker; it does not send your marketing campaign. Mail-server responses may be inconclusive or change over time.
How do I pay?+
Choose an active credit package and complete checkout through PayPal. Current package totals and per-credit rates are displayed on the pricing page.
Where can I review data handling?+
Read the data and security overview and privacy notice before uploading personal data. Verification addresses are sent to BulkEmailChecker. Contact the team about retention, hosting region, and any procurement requirements.
Can I use the results in another platform?+
You can download CSV results and import them into a platform that accepts your file format. This is a file export workflow, not a claim of a native integration or partnership.
What is email verification?+
Email verification checks whether an address is correctly formatted, on a working domain, and likely to accept mail, without sending a message. See the email verifier page for details.
What is email list cleaning?+
Email list cleaning removes invalid, disposable, and risky addresses from a list before you send. See the email list cleaning page and the step-by-step guide.
What is bulk email verification?+
Bulk email verification checks every address in a CSV or TXT file in a single job, then lets you export the results.
What does Passed mean?+
The address passed syntax, domain, and mailbox checks and looks deliverable at the time of the check. It uses one credit.
What does Failed mean?+
The address is invalid, the domain doesn't accept mail, or the mailbox rejected the check, for example because it doesn't exist or is full. It uses one credit.
What does Unknown mean?+
The receiving server didn't give a clear answer, often because the domain is catch-all or temporarily restricted. Unknown results use no credits.
What is a catch-all domain?+
A domain that accepts mail for any address, so a specific mailbox can't be confirmed. These addresses usually return Unknown.
Do Unknown results use credits?+
No. Only Passed and Failed results use one credit each.
Can email verification guarantee deliverability?+
No. Verification reduces uncertainty before sending, but inbox placement also depends on consent, content, authentication, and sender reputation.
Are credits monthly?+
No. MailGuard has no monthly subscription. Credits are bought once and never expire.
