Privacy Policy

Draft updated: October 3, 2026

MailGuard ("we", "us") provides email verification services. This draft describes the application’s data flow. Company identity, applicable jurisdiction, hosting region, retention periods, and a privacy contact still require confirmation.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, company, role, and authentication credentials.
  • Verification data: email addresses you submit for verification.
  • Usage data: verification jobs, results, credits consumed, and account activity.
  • Billing data: PayPal processes payments; MailGuard records order identifiers, amounts, and credit purchases.

How we use data

  • To deliver verification results back to you.
  • To bill for usage and prevent abuse.
  • To respond to support requests. Guardy conversation content is sent to a third-party AI model provider, and support request text is classified by an AI triage service (Jev by TypeSafe AI) to set its priority.

Service providers

  • Supabase provides authentication and stores account data, verification results, purchase records, and support requests.
  • Email addresses submitted for verification are sent to BulkEmailChecker.
  • PayPal handles checkout. AI support conversations are processed by a third-party AI model provider, and support requests are triaged by TypeSafe AI.
  • Do not include credentials, private lists, or sensitive records in support messages.

Retention

  • Verification results are stored for review and export. A verified retention schedule and backup deletion process have not yet been published.
  • Settings provides an account deletion request. Contact the team to confirm deletion scope and timing.

Your rights

  • Profile editing and account deletion requests are available in Settings; verification exports are available from results pages.
  • Lodge complaints with your local data protection authority.
  • Submit privacy questions through the support request form; a dedicated privacy contact must be confirmed before this draft is finalized.

Draft notice: the business owner must confirm the missing operational and company details and obtain legal review before publishing this as a finalized privacy policy.
